M\u00e4nner, die einen Besuch w\u00fcnschen, m\u00fcssen bis zu 6 Monate im Voraus eine Erlaubnis beantragen und nicht l\u00e4nger als 4 Tage zu Besuch bleiben. Bis zu 120 Genehmigungen f\u00fcr griechische M\u00e4nner und 10 f\u00fcr Ausl\u00e4nder werden t\u00e4glich ausgestellt. Bis jetzt leben 1.700 M\u00f6nche auf dem Heiligen Berg unter strengen Regeln, und keine Frau darf dort jemals Fu\u00df fassen. Die Kreuzfahrt beginnt in Ormos Panagias, einem sehr kleinen Dorf. Sobald Sie Sithonia verlassen, erreichen Sie die Halbinsel Athos. Wenn Sie entlang der Westk\u00fcste fahren, haben Sie die M\u00f6glichkeit, Europas einzigartigste M\u00f6nchsrepublik mit ihren beeindruckenden byzantinischen Kl\u00f6stern zu sehen und zu fotografieren.
